This post is a little different, I want to recognize one of our fellow Ship Shape Strong Mommies. I remember when I first met her, I thought she had the coolest name ever, have any of you guessed yet?
I wanted to recognize and give Aislinn a wonderful send off she has been a huge part of Ship Shape Strong from the very begining. She is one of the strongest women I know, Aislinn and her family have endured many hardships in the last couple of years. Through these hardships she always showed up to class with a brave smile on her face. I am happy to say our beautiful friend is now pregnant, she is adding to her beautiful family. Aislinn and her family have recently moved to a new home across the river.
Aislinn and Mary were regulars in our bootcamp and HIIT classes. If Aislinn missed a bootcamp class it was unusual, she was committed to her health and fitness. I asked many of the other mommies to describe Aslinn in one or two words and here are some of the responses I received, strong, compassionate, laid back, confident, fit, awesome triceps, big heart, friend, and super mum. Aislinn you and the girls will be dearly missed in class, I already feel your absence, but we all love you and wish you the BEST!

I miss having you at HIIT so much! One of the original “beasts”! Please visit when you are around and congrats to your family. I will miss your girls just as much, they were always polite and helpful! A great testimony of your mommy skills:) good luck and best wishes!

I’m so happy to have met you and to now call you my friend. So I guess we need to be retiring your….what???
